Places I have earned money with online

So, the following are places that I have earned money with online. It wasn’t enough for me to quit my day job but it is enough to put gas in my car every now and then. I will say that if you’re looking to earn money through any of these websites, then you want build a downline. That is your best bet.

I do have more exploring to do but these are ones that I have earned money on and been paid.

Bookflix?

So I was looking on the various websites that I do to try and find money making opportunities and I found a company that does for books what Netflix does for movies. Umm…hello? When did this happen? Because this is really a cool idea. And yes, I know that there are such things as library’s that offer free books but what if you cannot/will not leave the house?

My postive experience using a Web Hosting Rating site

As I mentioned in an earlier post, there are events occurring in my life that have caused me to look at my current expenses and think of ways to decrease them.  One of my major online expenses is the hosting of my web sites.  With having multiple web domains, I have found myself using a reseller account for my web hosting.  But with law school now in full swing and a few other events going on, I’ve realized that for the most part, I am only going to need one web site hosted – my blog.

Because of this, I began looking at getting out of a reseller account and changing to a single domain hosting.  As in the past, I have never been one to rush out and pick the first web host I find.  Instead I take time and research the new hosting company using various web hosting review sites.  My goal is to find out not only what other customers are saying but also statistics on their up time and how they compare to other hosting companies.

One website that I looked at in this quest is Web Hosting Rating.  The website offers not only various articles to read about what to look for in a webhost and how to use the webhosts various services but also offers a listing of the top ten web hosting companies of 2009 and also offers a directory of 143 various web hosting companies.  In looking through the directory, I did find the web hosting company that I eventually web with.  In clicking on the link for them, I found not only information on the actual plan including various payment options but also the operating system that the server is and all additional features that they offer.

One thing that I really like about the Web Hosting Rating site is that they do not post only positive reviews about a company.  Many sites that I have visited when investigating a company only offer positive reviews.  I know that web hosts are not 100% perfect.  While I wish it was true, it’s just not possible.  It was a nice to finally see a review site that offers the positive and the negative reviews that they have received for the hosts.

All in all, I was pleased with my experience in using  Web Hosting Rating in my quest to find a new web site hosting company.

Please note that I may have received payment for the above review but that does not affect my personal opinion expressed in the article.

Hits4Pay

In 2002, I began looking for different ways to earn some extra money. At first, I was amazed at the various offers that I found after doing a Yahoo! search. Make money from completing surveys, reading e-mails, searching the Internet…the opportunities seemed endless. But most of them wanted a person to pay money before they could start earning money. To me, that seemed a little odd. After all, I was looking to make money; not to spend it. So before I signed up for anything, I did a search for feedback from people on the net. And what I found confirmed my thoughts. Most companies that ask you to pay them before you start earning money is usually a scam or just offer you the same thing they’re doing; get people to pay you for the chance to do what they’re doing. And I did not want to do that. One thing that I did find was the paid to read e-mail companies. I signed up with a few and began reading my e-mails. Now, it does take a lot of time to earn money.

Before I really started building up my down line, it took me until 2008 – or seven years – to earn the $25 payout with Hits4Pay. And in truth, I really didn’t know if they were going to pay me or not. But they did and in the time frame that they said they were going to. At that point, I realized that I had found a company that would pay me if I could just earn their requirements for payout. So I began researching different ways to get people to sign up under me. My first step? To advertise on various free classified websites with my referral code. You may be asking what this does? Well, in order to really start earning money, you need a down line. What this does is earn you a percentage of money for each e-mail that the person reads and if they have someone signed up under them, you earn a percentage of that too. In Hits4Pay’s case, you earn $0.02 for every e-mail that you read and $0.01 for every e-mail that people in your down line reads. Their payout level is you must earn $25.00 before they’ll pay you. When you first sign up, you receive a $10.00 sign up bonus and you must earn the other $15.00 on your own. Since I did not have a down line when I first signed up, it took me seven years to earn that $15.00. But once I was actually paid, I worked on building my down line. As I slowly built up my down line, I started earning more. And this time around, it only took me ten months. In May of 2009, my account was zeroed out and I received my payment of $25.63. As I’ve built my down line up, I’ve found it easier to earn that $25.00. As of today, 20-August-2009, I’ve earned $15.00. I was last paid in May of 2009 so that means it’s only taken me three months to earn $15 and I could possibly have my $25.00 needed for payment in six months instead of nine.

So if you’re looking for a legit company that will pay you and you’re willing to spend some time building your down line, then I recommend signing up with Hits4Pay. It will take time and you really do not earn that much but that $25.00 is more then I had before. And even better, since I wasn’t expecting that money, it’s easier for me to put away in a savings account. If you do want to sign up, just click the banner below and it will take you to their web page.
